Building enhancements at Río Grande’s Kindergartens by Mirgor Group

Mirgor Group announced the completion of the building enhancement works at Kindergarten No. 3 “Mundo de Colores” and Kindergarten No. 11 “Chepa’chen” in the city of Río Grande.

“we have committed ourselves to undertake maintainance and repair works so that all facilities would be in good conditions and all necessary safety measures taken for children to attend school. We gave priority to those measures that needed immediate attention”, stated Mario Almirón

Under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program, Mirgor Group announced the completion of the building enhancement works at Kindergarten No. 3 “Mundo de Colores” and Kindergarten No. 11 “Chepa’chen” in the city of Río Grande.

“Our initiative began early this year at those schools where we have committed ourselves to undertake maintainance and repair works so that all facilities would be in good conditions and all necessary safety measures taken for children to attend school. Along these lines, we gave priority to those measures that needed immediate attention”, stated Mario Almirón, in charge of the coordination of the works.

At Kindergarten No. 11 “Chepa’Chen”, attended by 283 students, we first repaired the central heating equipment so kids would be kept warm during winter. Water storage tanks were cleaned and disinfected as established by the World Health Organization’s current provisions and maintenance works were carried our at stoves and tank water heaters, emergency lighting devices, outside enclosures, etc. “Chepa’Chen” Kindergarten is located in Ángela Vallese 417, Chacra 2, Río Grande.

On the other hand, at Kindergarten No. 3 “Mundo de Colores”, the broken heating equipment was fixed and the tank water heater was put in operation. General maintenance of the industrial stove was carried out, furniture was repaired, and kitchen taps and bathroom fittings fixed. Fire extinguishers with their wall mounts and brackets and fire safety signs for the buildings’ indoor and outdoor safety conditions were installed. “Mundo de Colores” Kindergarten is located in Estrada 2078, Los Calafates Neighbourhood, Río Grande, and has 380 students.
